How do I effectively use this site?

Whether you are passing through a small town and have a few hours to kill and want to play 9 or you are deciding to break the bank for that once in a lifetime golf destination trip. Maybe like me you have family in a southern state and want to see if there is a good place to stop on your drive down to play a round in the morning before you finish the next leg of your journey. Traveling in the northern winter south, I always want to just stop as soon as it feels warm outside on the drive and play a few holes, but often I don’t know any good options unless its a big name destinations. Or maybe you already have saved for a golf trip just want to look at some options that might not have crossed your mind previously.

The goal of Quality Golf Finder is to be a comprehensive list of golf courses rated by an avid recreational golfer that will help you with deciding which course is best suited for your need. There are random golf courses all over the place, so this is focused specifically on locations where you have 5+ course options within a 25 miles radius of the town/city center.

The website should be rather intuitive starting with the homepage where each US region, or country if applicable, with its designated set of states allows you to move seamlessly from state to state depending on where or what you are looking for. Alternatively you can just go to the state-by-state guide which will bring up a list of all the States to scroll around. The blog will slowly populate with articles on different locations as time progresses. Finally the shop will have specific prints available of different golf courses as well as non-golf related scenic landscapes.

Selecting a state will bring you to a map with markers for all of the public golf courses that are available to play in specific locations where you can zoom in and out to get a bigger picture of the courses in a give area. Hovering over a course will bring up a list of attributes for what how it has been scored (assuming it has been scored) as well as the number of holes, yardages, prices, etc. to help with the decision making process.
